ANAMAR | handweaves creates warp-printed hand-woven silk fabrics, originally based on the French mid-18th Century silk weaving technique known as “chiné-à-la branche.”
We focus on designing exclusive bespoke warp-printed silks for discerning clientele and work with designers on the adaptation of patterns, colors and textures to complement their design direction.
We share the storied history of this textile mill established in the mid-’60s, weaving from Korea to the Philippines with notable designers as Gere Kavanaugh, the late Leslie Tillet and Jack Lenor Larsen, and luxury textile companies such as Randolph & Hein and Brunschwig & Fils, a testament to its excellent craftsmanship.
ANAMAR helps in bringing social and economic impact to Philippine communities and empowers local men, women and senior citizens through training and gainful employment.
